Affalterbach's mad scientists have unleashed their most potent 2-door coupe to date. The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance combines traditional German V8 thunder with cutting-edge Formula 1 hybrid technology.
Positioned on the rear axle is a 201 hp Electric Drive Unit (EDU) with an integrated 2-speed gearbox and electronically controlled limited-slip differential. Up front sits AMG's handcrafted 4.0L biturbo V8.
Devastating Hybrid Performance
- Combined Output: 805 HP (600 kW) and 1,420 Nm of torque.
- 0–100 km/h: 2.8 seconds (quicker than the AMG ONE hypercar from a standstill).
- Top Speed: 320 km/h (199 mph).
- Battery: 6.1 kWh AMG High Performance Battery with direct cell liquid cooling designed for instant energy deployment and continuous high-rate recuperation.
“"The electric motor eliminates any hint of turbo lag. The instant you breathe on the accelerator, 1,420 Nm hits your spine like a tidal wave."”
Active roll stabilization (AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL) and standard rear-axle steering ensure that this 2.1-ton luxury grand tourer corners flat and stays glued to the tarmac through high-speed sweepers.
